Default Morale Boost upon Vanquishing an area

I think the title says it all.

We get a morale boost for killing a boss. So why not a morale boost for clearing an entire area of enemies? Hell i'm pretty sure that would boost my morale.

I'm sure to many this would mean nothing. Plenty of vanquishing trips are only for 1 area. But some places are best cleared while your on a roll and gaining Morale at the end, be it alot to completely remove death penalty, or just 10%. Something to help with the death penalty from those unfortunate mistakes, overlures or just plain stupid mob groups.

Doesn't the XP bomb when you vanquish an area go a long way towards this already?

So what is the point? I might be missing something.

He is talking about going from an explorable area to another and NOT going back into a Staging Area(i.e. a town) beforehand. Going from oen explorable area to another DOES NOT remove DP/Morale Boost. I did so when I vanquished Traveler's Vale and went right into Ascalon Foothills(nice and easy). Diessa Lowlands is gonna be a pain though. I think the idea of a morale boost after vanquishing is a good idea.

I was trying to vanquish Scoundrel's Rise with henchies earlier. (Let's just say hench AI + bog skales' SS = failure). After about 30DP I decided "Forget it, I'll vanquish Griffon's mouth", which is between Deldrimor Bowl and Scoundrel's Rise. Aka, I couldn't go back anywhere to reset DP. I vanquished the area but was at about 54 DP by the end, with henchies dying constantly.

If you have Vanquished all enemies from a zone - you should get a huge morale boost and bump up the gold and XP at the same time.

Exactly. Its not like you can vanquish Snake Dance, Dreadnought's Drift and Lornars Pass with outpost breaks in between.

The experience goes a fair way to clearing dp, but by Morale Boost i was leaning more towards 10% morale boost as oppose to the GvG version. Its not like all areas can be reached directly from an outpost, specially in Tyria.

Good one. The exp from Vanquishing it cleans the DP, then a 10% morale bosst and...

Ding! You go to next area!

Good idea, indeed, specially to have a new start in areas like the falls, which are far from outposts.

Well,

considering it, vanquish an area, get all DP removed and gain 2% Morale Boost.
If you are done and return to a town / outpost, there is no big deal to it.
If you move on to another area, you have a fresh start.

You will hardly take 5 or more areas in a row, so a max of 10% MB should be set. And hardly more then 5 due to time and drops, at some point you need a merchant/storage. And a good break.

So, vanquish one area, all DP removed and gain a 2% MB for each area, MB capped at 10%.
